I'm having trouble with my system recognizing my SSD. I encountered an error related to "winload.exe" and when I accessed the UEFI menu, I only saw my hard drive listed—no sign of the SSD. I've checked the cables and they seem fine, but the SSD doesn't appear in the storage configuration despite being in the boot priority list. Could my SSD be dead? If the ports are the problem, are they repairable? Is this a common issue when Windows fails? I could really use some help figuring this out!

It sounds like there's a bit of confusion here. If your SSD isn't showing up in the storage settings of the BIOS, it can't be in the boot menu either. UEFI only shows bootable drives. Can you clarify what you're seeing? How are your drives connected, and what's listed in the BIOS?
Is your SSD an M.2 type? Some motherboards share lanes between M.2 slots and SATA ports, which could cause detection issues. If that's the case, try moving your HDD to a different port on the motherboard and see if that helps!
It's actually a SATA SSD.

I can't provide a photo, but in the storage config on the left, it shows my hard drive with a WDS number in the 4 slot, and on the right, it lets me choose between the hard drive and SSD for boot priority. I'm not imagining things—I'm just trying to solve this winload.exe error, and I suspect it could be the SSD or Windows causing the issue.
