Hey everyone! I'm in the process of upgrading my old PC with some newer components, but I'm not super knowledgeable about hardware. I've included links to my current setup and the new parts I'm considering. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look and let me know if there are any issues or if everything seems alright. Thanks a lot!

Your estimated upgrade cost is around $300 since you'll need to replace the motherboard and RAM. You might achieve a similar performance boost by just upgrading to a $180 Ryzen 5800XT instead.

Honestly, the motherboard is causing BIOS problems for me—I can't access it anymore. That's why I want to change it out.

Everything looks pretty good! I’d recommend switching to a different motherboard brand, though. You could consider this one: [MSI Pro B850](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/GP7MnQ/msi-pro-b850-s-wifi6e-atx-am5-motherboard-pro-b850-s-wifi6e).

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll update it right now.

What’s this upgrade for, by the way?

If you're not planning on upgrading your GPU soon, I’d suggest just going for the SSD right now. Also, I’ve heard that the Asrock boards have had some issues with the 9000 series CPUs compared to other brands.
