My Computer Turns On But the Monitor Won’t Display Anything

Hey everyone! So, my roommate recently unplugged my entire computer to move it and then plugged everything back in. I came home and found that the computer powers on, but the monitor doesn't show any display. The monitor has power since it lights up, but it displays "No signal" before going blank. I've already tried five different HDMI cables and a VGA cable, plus I replaced the power cable for the monitor, but nothing seems to work. I'd really appreciate any advice to get this sorted out! Thanks!

Does your PC have a dedicated graphics card? If it does, make sure the HDMI cable is connected to that instead of the motherboard. Sometimes, if the cable is plugged into the onboard graphics, it won't display anything if the card is active.

If the issue persists, you can try resetting the graphics card by pressing "Win+Ctrl+Shift+B" to see if that helps.

I'll try that now, thanks!

Since you moved the setup, you might want to open the side panel and re-seat all the cables and components like RAM and the graphics card. Sometimes they're not fully connected after a move, which can cause display issues.

Thanks, I'll check that and update you!

Did you manage to fix it? Sometimes it's just loose cables!
