Hey everyone! My old PC finally kicked the bucket after 8 years of repairs, so I'm looking to build a new one instead of pouring more money into it. Here's the hardware I'm considering: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F for €135, MSI B650 PLUS WIFI motherboard for €140, be quiet! Pure Rock Pro 3 LX cooler for €45, Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD for €215, Fractal Design North Charcoal Black case for €140, and be quiet! Pure Power 12 750W PSU for €100. I have a GTX 1070 Ti from my last setup that I plan to use until GPU prices drop. I'm also considering getting 2 sticks of Kingston FURY Beast white RGB 16GB RAM for €85 each, but I might upgrade them later. What do you all think about this setup? Thanks for any feedback!

I think the SSD choice could be better. You can find solid 1TB models for around €120, and honestly, going for high-end SSDs doesn’t make much of a difference in real life—for typical loading times, you won’t notice. Also, make sure the RAM you choose is DDR5. As for your GPU plan, prices are still pretty high, and I expect them to go up further, so getting a mid-range card like an RTX 5070 or RX 9070 might be wise to consider soon.

Honestly, your GPU waiting strategy might not work out. Prices are still high, and they could get worse before improving. But overall, your build looks solid and should perform well!

Thanks for the heads up! I wasn’t sure if waiting would be a good idea.
