Brain Fold Review – Don’t Trust These Guys

I recently got a large email from a site called brain-fold where they sent me a large list of fake problems they detected on a blog that I run. I was so annoyed by it that it inspired me to create this new series of blog posts. If you work for this website, well done, you are the first website to be added to my shady outreach blog series. You have earned it!

For anyone who has gotten an email from this company Sales Team <[email protected]>, do not worry. Your website is likely perfectly fine. These guys are just trying to trick you into giving them some money that they do not deserve. Make sure to send this email right into your spam folder. If enough people do it, they will likely get flagged by Google as a spam email and we will be all free of these guys.

For the sake of complete transparency, here is a copy of the email that I received from these guys. It came with the catchy title of “Re: Fix website.com error”. Just to make you think that they were replying to some other error that they had already found. I am sure they will claim to have some exceptional SEO scanner that can do things that no other tool can.

For good measure, I checked their website and it is flagged as being unsafe already. At least they have been discovered for their shady tactics already.
