1200W Platinum or 1300W Gold PSU: Which One Should I Choose for My Build?

I'm looking to build a PC with either the Super Flower Leadex VII XP PRO 1200W Platinum PSU for $280 or the Super Flower Leadex VII XG 1300W Gold PSU for $250. Both are rated A+ on the PSU Tier list. Which one would be the better choice?

The XG series has been noted for slightly better electrical performance, too. Just keep in mind that both PSUs have a pretty loud fan curve, so if sound is a factor, that might be something to consider.

Just be careful if you're considering the 6090, as there are whispers it might need dual 12v-2x6 ports. So looking at something over 1000W could be wise for future-proofing.

If you're leaning towards power, I'd say the 1300W Gold XG is a solid choice. It gives you that extra 100W headroom, which is nice for future upgrades or stability. Plus, it’s cheaper!
