Accidentally Deleted My EFI Partition on CachyOS, How Can I Restore It?

I was trying to delete a different partition, but I accidentally deleted the EFI partition on my CachyOS installation. Luckily, my root partition still has all my important data, but now I'm stuck. I've booted from a live Arch ISO and created a new 512MB partition, attempting to use it as my EFI. However, when I run the command 'arch-chroot /mnt', I get an error regarding '/mnt/proc' or something about not being able to change root. Is there a way to recreate the EFI and access my root directory? Any guidance would be really appreciated!

You might want to try booting from your CachyOS live USB and running a boot repair. If you don’t have anything critical, formatting and reinstalling is an option, but it sounds like you really need your files. Just be careful and do lots of research before making any changes!

CachyOS actually has a chroot helper called 'cachy-chroot.' This could help since 'arch-chroot' might not work properly if you have LUKS encryption involved. Give 'cachy-chroot' a shot and see if that resolves your issue!
