Acer Nitro 17 powers on but the screen stays completely black

My Acer Nitro 17 appears to turn on—the fans or internal components make a quiet whirring sound—but nothing appears on the display at all. There are no visible images or startup information, and I'm unsure whether this is caused by a hardware failure or a software issue. The sound is very faint, so recording it clearly has been difficult.

The whirring is probably just the cooling fan, but it could also be useful for identifying a startup error if there are any beeps or unusual patterns. Since the sound is very quiet, try checking whether the keyboard lights respond, connecting an external monitor, and doing a full power reset by holding the power button for about 15 seconds before trying again.
