I'm looking to build a desktop mainly for Blender Animation and CAD, with a budget of about $6,000. Here's what I have so far:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 4.3 GHz 16-Core Processor
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler
- Motherboard: MSI X870E-P PRO WIFI AMD AM5 ATX Motherboard
- Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2 NVME SSD
- GPU: Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Gaming Overclocked 32GB GDDR7
- Case: Montech XR ATX Mid Tower Case
- Power Supply: Silverstone HELA 1300R 1300 W 80+ Platinum Fully Modular

I would really appreciate any suggestions you might have!

Your build looks solid overall! Since you're aiming for top-end performance, I wouldn't stress too much about changing components if you're satisfied with the brands you've chosen. Just ensure all parts are compatible. If you're concerned about getting better value, maybe consider whether you really need the latest GPU or if a slightly older model would suffice for your needs in Blender.

Thanks for the quick response! I just wanted to double-check compatibility. I'm open to suggestions on parts that might offer better value too!

For Blender and CAD, the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D isn't really faster than the regular 9950X. You might want to look into whether it’s worth the premium for the X3D version, especially since your budget is already pretty steep!
