My PC has developed a repeatable USB problem since I started playing Star Wars Zero Company. After roughly 2–3 hours of gaming while streaming, every USB input device stops responding at once. My wired headset microphone, mouse, and USB-C camera are connected to the front ports, while my keyboard uses a wireless dongle plugged into the back. None of them work again, even after unplugging and reconnecting them. A Switch controller connected to a front USB port reports itself as disconnected in Steam about a minute later. Audio and video output continue working normally, but I have no usable input devices, so I can only recover by forcing the computer to shut down. I disabled USB selective suspend in Device Manager, which seemed to help temporarily, but the issue returned. What could be causing this, and how can I troubleshoot it without interrupting my streams?

This sounds like the USB controller or bus may be reaching a power or stability limit, especially with several devices connected to the case’s front-panel ports. A powered USB hub could help if the devices are drawing more power than the controller or front-panel connection can reliably provide. I’d also test the mouse, headset, and camera one at a time using the rear motherboard USB ports, since that can reveal whether the front-panel wiring or ports are involved.
There isn’t a separate hub involved—these are the USB ports built into the case. I’ll try moving the devices to the rear motherboard ports and testing them individually.
