Am I Getting the Right FPS for My Setup?

I recently built a gaming PC and I'm mainly playing Battlefield 6 and Arc Raiders. My setup includes a 5070ti graphics card, a Ryzen 5 7600 processor, 32 GB of RAM, and a 27" 1440p monitor. Currently, I'm getting around 110 fps in both games, though it drops to about 70 fps at times. I feel like I should be achieving a higher, more consistent frame rate. What do you think?

Your fps sounds pretty normal for a 1440p resolution. What’s the refresh rate of your monitor? Also, why do you think you need more than 70 fps?

I'm seeing slightly better fps with my 7900xt, so I would expect yours to be a bit higher too. But keep in mind, BF6 tends to run better on AMD cards, especially at lower tiers like the 5080 or 5090.

What kind of settings are you using in the game? I play BF6 at medium-high settings on my older i9-9900k with a 2080ti, and I'm usually around 70-100 fps at 1440p.

I'm playing on ultra settings. But I just optimized my RAM, and now I’m hitting a consistent 150 fps!
