Am I just burned out, or is programming really not for me?

I've been coding for about five years, and I used to love it. Opening up Visual Studio Code and typing out random ideas was my escape. Last year, I worked on many projects, though I lost a bunch of them and had some corrupted files. This year feels different; I can't seem to write even simple projects anymore. I've tried switching programming languages from Python to C, then C to JavaScript, and moved from desktop to web development, yet I'm stuck at the same skill level. For the first time, I'm feeling bored just looking at the VS Code interface. So, I have to ask: is programming just not for me, or is there still hope for me to enjoy it again?

You might be jumping around too much between languages. It’s better to focus on one and really get to know it. If you’ve lost data from your projects, it’s a sign you could benefit from learning version control like Git. That way, you won’t feel so scattered.
