I recently compared my gaming performance with a friend and he thinks my system should be producing higher frame rates. My PC has an RTX 3060 12GB, Ryzen 7 5700X, ASUS B550M-K motherboard, and 16GB of 3200MHz RAM. In CS2, using esports-style settings, I usually get around 300 FPS, while the Dust2 benchmark reaches roughly 360 FPS. During late-game Fortnite tournaments, performance is closer to 120 FPS. Are these results normal for this hardware, or should I investigate a possible problem?

That performance is actually quite good for an RTX 3060 and Ryzen 7 5700X. The extra frames in CS2 probably will not make a practical difference unless your monitor can display them. With a 165Hz monitor, anything well above 165 FPS is mostly useful for reducing latency rather than visibly increasing smoothness.
Those numbers sound normal for your system. Your friend is probably expecting too much, so there is no obvious reason to assume something is wrong.
Your CPU may be slightly faster in some comparisons, but your friend's system has a much stronger RTX 3070 Ti, faster memory, and twice the RAM. That GPU advantage can explain why his benchmark reaches around 480 FPS, so his result is not a fair expectation for your PC.
My monitor is 165Hz, so it sounds like I am already getting more than enough FPS for it.
