Are 5070 Ti GPUs Compatible with PCIe 3.0 Motherboards Like the B450?

Hey everyone! I've seen a lot of mixed information floating around, so I wanted to check here: Do 5070 Ti GPUs have compatibility issues with PCIe 3.0 motherboards such as the B450? Also, how are the drivers handling these days? I've heard there might be some problems. Thanks in advance!

Nope, no compatibility issues! Just keep in mind that running on PCIe 3.0 might reduce performance by a small percentage.

Actually, I recommend updating your motherboard's BIOS first, then tweak some settings like resizing the bar and enabling XMP after that. It can really help with performance!

I'm using an MSI B450M A Pro Max, and it works just fine with the 5070 Ti. You might drop some frames, but it's not something you'd really notice unless you're looking for it. Just keep an eye on your CPU; something like a 5600X or a 3600 could limit your GPU performance a bit, so you might want to think about upgrading in the future.

You can use the 5070 Ti with PCIe 3.0 without any major compatibility issues. You'll lose a bit of performance, but it's nothing too noticeable. As for the drivers, they're decent, but they've had their ups and downs since the 50 series was launched.
