I've noticed a lot of builds using the Hyte Y70 have fans at the bottom of the case. I'm curious if that's really important. Should I install intake or exhaust fans at the bottom, or does it not make much difference? I'll share my build in the comments since I can't post links here.

I've never used bottom fans myself. If your case is on the floor, I’d recommend skipping them to avoid dust buildup. But if it’s on your desk, they might not be as important. Personally, I don’t think base fans significantly improve airflow. However, if you use them as exhaust, they could help with dust management.

I made the mistake of having mine positioned incorrectly, and my CPU was hitting 80°C while idling. After adjusting, it’s now down to 30°C! So it does make a real difference.
