Are Coursera or Udemy Courses Worth It for AI Learning?

Hey everyone! I'm currently a junior in AI engineering and I'm looking to expand my knowledge after work. I'm curious whether courses on Coursera or Udemy are worth the money, especially since I'm interested in getting certifications that are recognized and can help boost my resume. I'm particularly looking for courses on deep learning, federated learning (with a focus on secure aggregation), and more broadly on machine learning and AI. Thanks for your help!

When it comes to value, Coursera generally stands out because they partner with universities and companies to offer more structured courses with some quality control. Udemy can be a bit hit or miss depending on the course you choose.

But isn't it true that Coursera's certificates come from big names like Cisco, Google, and IBM?

I get that, but I wonder if these certificates will really be recognized. For genuinely gaining knowledge, which platform should I lean towards?

You can actually find a lot of quality resources for free if you're open to that! For example, deep learning.ai offers free courses, though you won’t get any fancy certificates. Google has also launched their own AI learning platform with free resources you might find useful.
