I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 5700X to a 5700X3D that I found for a decent price. I've been stress testing it and noticed the temperatures hit 86 degrees Celsius, but they never go higher. Its idle temps are okay at around 30 degrees. My previous 5700X didn't run this hot, so I'm a bit concerned. Is this temperature normal for the 5700X3D?

It's normal for CPUs to run hotter under stress tests. Have you noticed what the temps are like during gaming sessions?
The 5700X3D has a 3D Cache that sits between the CPU and the IHS, which can insulate it and make it harder for heat to dissipate. This design might explain why it's running hotter than your previous CPU.

I haven't tested gaming yet since I just got it a few hours ago and wanted to stress test first.
