Are M2 or M3 MacBooks Suitable for Programming?

I've recently received an academic grant worth about 10,000 złoty (roughly 3,500 USD) and I'm looking to buy a reasonably priced laptop that can last a day or more on a single charge. I plan to use it for Godot game development, some light Blender rendering, and Python programming. Has anyone tried using the M2 or M3 MacBooks? What's your experience with them?

I have the M1 version and it's been fantastic for my needs! I'm using Python, R, and SQL without any issues. I mostly handle NFL analytics and some basic machine learning, so I'm guessing the M2 and M3 models will perform even better. You'll be happy with your choice!

Quick question though, is 16GB of RAM enough for programming?
