Are MSI and Corsair PSU cables interchangeable?

Hey everyone! I'm curious if the cables from the MSI MAG A850 GL PCIE5 II power supply are compatible with the Corsair RM550X PSU cables. I tried checking CableMod's compatibility charts, but honestly, I'm confused about how to interpret their spreadsheets. The Corsair one lists "C-Series Type 4 or Custom Configurator", while the MSI just says "Custom Configurator Only". Can anyone help clarify if these cables will work together?

From my experience, it's just not worth taking the chance. If you need new cables, just get the right ones for your PSU. Mixing and matching can cause major problems.

Cables aren’t interchangeable between brands. Always stick to the manufacturer’s cables. It’s just too risky otherwise, even if they look similar.
