I recently set up an i7-14700K with a 240mm All-in-One cooler and a 4070 Ti Super. I rarely pay attention to temps, but I've noticed they typically range from the mid-30s to low 40s during regular use. When I'm playing Fortnite, my CPU temps usually sit between 50-60°C, but I've seen spikes up to 80°C while in the lobby, depending on the game. In something more demanding like Cyberpunk, my temps also reach 70-75°C. Sometimes they spike briefly and then drop back down; is that normal? I'm a bit worried about the spikes, especially the ones hitting up to 80°C even in the lobby.

80°C is fine for your setup! The CPU can take a lot of heat, but if you're seeing up to 100°C, that's when thermal throttling starts. As for undervolting, that's an option, but it probably won't make a huge difference. You're pretty good as is with your setup.

Try adjusting your CPU fan curve in the BIOS. Mine was set to 100% at 70°C, but I changed it to activate at 60°C, and it keeps my temps around 62-64°C under full load.
