Hey everyone! I'm piecing together my new PC build and want to confirm if all my selected parts are compatible and if this setup is decent overall. Here's what I've got:
- **GPU:** Gigabyte RTX 5080 WINDFORCE OC SFF 16GB
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7 / AORUS ELITE WIFI7
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D AM5 4.70GHz 8-Core
- **SSD:** Samsung 990 Pro 1TB M.2 2280
- **Cooler:** Deepcool LT720 360mm AIO
- **PSU:** Corsair RM850x Shift White 850W
- **RAM:** Kingston Fury Beast 2x16GB DDR5 5600MHz
- **Case:** Lian-Li LANCOOL 216 RGB / Lancool 207 Black
I might consider swapping the SSD for a 2TB 990 Evo Plus and possibly upgrading to an RM1000x Shift 1000W PSU. If you have any suggestions or recommendations for my parts, I'd love to hear them!

So, what resolution are you planning to game at—4K or 1440p?
Just a heads up about the SHIFT power supply. The ports are on the side, so make sure that fits your case setup. Check this link for more details: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/xfLdnQ/corsair-rm850x-shift-850-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-side-interface-atx-power-supply-cp-9020274-na
Thanks for the info!
Your build is compatible, but I’d suggest upgrading your RAM to at least 2x16GB at 6000 or 6400 MHz if you can. Also, bumping up your PSU to 1000W would be a good move for stability.
Thanks! I’m thinking about changing the PSU. Is the difference in RAM speed worth the extra cost? Would I really notice a performance boost?

I’m using an Asus ProArt VA34VCPSR 34" WQHD (3440 x 1440)!
