Hey everyone! I'm noticing that my Ryzen 7700 is idling at around 55 degrees Celsius, which seems a bit high. When I play a simple game like League of Legends, the temperature stays at about 70 degrees Celsius and can even reach up to 80 degrees during stress tests with Prime95. I'm not worried about the high temps under load, but I'd love for it to be around 60 degrees in League. I'm using a Segotep Bevere 240mm liquid cooler. Any advice on what I can do?

I get what you're saying about the idle temps. While 55 degrees isn't ideal, it's not alarming. These chips are designed to run close to their thermal limits. As long as you’re under that 95 degrees cap, you're in the clear. Don't stress too much about it!
Your temperatures are actually quite normal for a Ryzen 7700. While 55 degrees at idle may be a bit on the high side, it's still well within safe limits. Gaming temperatures around 70 degrees are perfectly acceptable too, since these CPUs can handle up to 95 degrees safely.

Is it common for FPS-heavy games like LoL to keep the temps that high? Just seems odd that with low CPU usage it would stay above 70.
