I'm looking for the smallest smartphone possible without giving up too much flagship performance. My priorities are a strong camera, a 90Hz-or-faster OLED display, a capable processor, and decent battery life. The Galaxy S26 seems like a good balance, but are there any even smaller phones with comparable specifications?

There probably aren’t many smaller options that match the S26 across the board. The iPhone Pro models, standard Pixel Pro-sized models, and the Galaxy S line are among the smallest current flagships. The non-Max and non-XL versions are the ones to consider.
Older Galaxy models such as the S25 or S24 are worth checking if you don’t need the newest processor. They’re compact, have strong cameras and displays, and may be easier to find at a discount.
The Zenfone 10 is probably the closest match if size is your top priority. It has a high-refresh-rate OLED screen, solid performance, and good battery life, but its camera is a step behind Samsung’s and its software support is less extensive.
Foldables like a flip phone can become very small when closed, but they’re not really a direct substitute for a compact flagship. Their cameras, battery life, durability, or thickness may involve compromises, so the regular Galaxy S, iPhone Pro, or smaller Pixel models are safer choices.
