Are Thermalright PSUs Reliable?

I'm considering the Thermalright TR-TG 1000W power supply. It claims to be 80+ gold certified and has an ATX 3.0 form factor. The price is attractive at $80 with a two-year warranty, but I'm a bit skeptical. I currently have a 650W unit but plan to upgrade to an RTX 5070Ti soon, so I'm curious if this PSU is worth it or if it's too good to be true.

I've had my 850W Thermalright PSU for years without issues. It's been reliable for my setup, and I haven’t encountered any problems. Just make sure to monitor your temps and load to be safe!

That's encouraging to hear! Maybe they’ve improved their quality since they started out.

It definitely raises eyebrows when the deal seems too good. Some brands have faced scrutiny for misleading certifications, so always check reviews first. Thermalright is relatively new in the PSU game, and that's a bit concerning. Just be cautious before jumping in.

That was my concern too! But I bought mine from a reputable seller, so maybe that makes a difference.
