I'm building my first PC and want to make sure the parts are compatible before I start buying anything. I'll mainly use it for Fortnite and modded Minecraft, along with schoolwork. I'm hoping to keep the total cost under $3,000 USD, especially since I still need to budget for one or more monitors. I'd appreciate advice on whether this build is balanced or if I should swap anything for better value.

The 1,000W power supply is much more than this system needs. A quality unit around 750W should generally be plenty for these components, so you could save money there. The build should handle Fortnite and modded Minecraft very comfortably, but you’re paying a premium for several white and RGB parts.
The parts should perform very well at 1440p and should also be capable of 4K gaming. The main thing that seems out of balance is the expensive X870 motherboard; a less costly AM5 board with the features you actually need would likely be better value. The rest of the core components look reasonable for a high-end build.
Thanks for pointing that out. I assumed 1,000W was fairly standard because I’ve seen it in a lot of builds, but I’ll compare it with lower-wattage options.
