Are These Parts a Good Choice for My First Gaming PC?

I'm putting together my first PC with a Ryzen 5 5500, MSI B550M-A PRO motherboard, ASUS Dual RTX 3050 6GB, 16GB of DDR4-3200 memory, a 1TB NVMe SSD, MSI MAG A650GL 650W Gold power supply, and an Antec VCX10M ARGB case. My budget is around $900, and the RTX 3050 costs about $300 where I live. I'm concerned that the GPU may not offer good value, and I'm also unsure whether the case is suitable for a beginner to build in. Are there any parts I should change?

I’d consider replacing the Ryzen 5 5500 with a Ryzen 5 5600 if the price difference is reasonable. The 5600 has more cache, which can improve gaming performance and help the system make better use of the graphics card. It should also work with that B550 motherboard, though you may need to check BIOS compatibility.

I’ll check whether the 5600 is available within my budget. I’m still curious whether the case or GPU has any major problems.

The RTX 3050 can be fine if your expectations and budget match it, but its value depends heavily on local prices. At around $300, it may be worth checking whether a faster graphics card is available for a similar price. The case should not be a major concern either—most modern cases are manageable for a first build. Focus on airflow, included fans, component clearance, and whether you like the layout and features.

Thanks! My budget is about $900, and the RTX 3050 is roughly $300 here, so I’ll compare it with other cards available locally.
