I'm building my first gaming PC and want to make sure these components are compatible before buying everything. The planned parts are a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, a PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB Hellhound, a Gigabyte B650E Eagle WiFi 6E motherboard, and Patriot Viper Venom RGB 32GB (2x16GB) memory. I haven't chosen a case or power supply yet. Are there any compatibility concerns, and what specifications should I look for in the remaining parts?

The main thing to verify is that the memory is DDR5, since the B650E motherboard and Ryzen 7 7800X3D require DDR5. A 32GB kit rated around DDR5-6000 with CL30 timings is a particularly good target for this processor, although slower compatible DDR5 will still work. It’s also worth checking the motherboard’s memory support list if you want the best chance of easy setup.
Don’t forget the CPU cooler—the 7800X3D does not include one. Pick a capable tower air cooler or a good liquid cooler, and make sure the case supports the cooler height or radiator size. For the case, check the GPU’s listed length and thickness, motherboard support for ATX, airflow, and whether the power supply fits. Memory compatibility reports with a different motherboard and Intel processor don’t necessarily apply to this AMD B650E setup.
Those core components should work well together. An 850W quality power supply would be a sensible choice for the 7800X3D and RX 9070 XT, with enough headroom for transient power spikes. Choose a reputable unit with the proper graphics-card power connectors rather than focusing only on the wattage rating.

The kit I’m considering is DDR5, so I’ll check its speed and the motherboard’s supported-memory list before ordering.
