Are These RTX 5090 Temperatures Normal After Installing a KryoSheet?

I have a Zotac RTX 5090 Solid OC and replaced the stock GPU thermal interface material with a Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet. While testing in Cyberpunk 2077, the card reached a maximum GPU temperature of 67.1ยฐC, a 73.8ยฐC hotspot, and an impressive 6.7ยฐC core-to-hotspot delta. Memory junction and chip temperature both peaked at 88ยฐC. Power draw was up to 423 W, with the fans reaching roughly 1,740 RPM. Do these results look healthy for a 5090 at this power level? I'm especially wondering whether 88ยฐC memory temperature is normal since I reused the stock VRAM pads or putty. Before the replacement, the hotspot was around 95โ96ยฐC and the original thermal paste appeared melted.

Those temperatures look very good for a 400โ423 W RTX 5090. A 67ยฐC core temperature and only a 6.7ยฐC hotspot difference suggest the KryoSheet is making excellent contact. An 88ยฐC memory junction temperature is also within a normal range under a heavy gaming load, especially with the original VRAM pads or putty still installed. Thereโs no obvious thermal problem here.

The main improvement seems to be the hotspot: dropping from roughly 95โ96ยฐC to 73.8ยฐC is a substantial result. Memory temperatures are handled separately from the GPU die, so changing the core interface material usually wonโt lower them much. Unless the memory keeps climbing toward its limit, throttles, or shows instability, 88ยฐC at this power draw is generally fine.
