Has anyone else started seeing Bluetooth devices repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting on Windows machines? Our reports began on Monday, 8/24, and the problem affects roughly 10% of our fleet. It occurs across several Microsoft Surface models, as well as some HP systems.
We have already tried rolling back the latest Windows update, reinstalling Bluetooth drivers, and testing newer and older driver versions without success. The affected devices include mice, keyboards, headsets, and game controllers, and some users lose connectivity when unlocking their session or randomly during the workday. I have collected logs from many of the affected systems but have not identified the root cause yet. Has anyone found a reliable workaround or noticed a pattern involving a specific driver, chipset, or peripheral manufacturer?

The problem does not seem limited to one type of peripheral. We have reproduced it with a Plantronics headset and an Xbox wireless controller, so it may be a broader Bluetooth or chipset issue rather than just a mouse or keyboard problem.
We have seen this on around 40 systems, mostly Dell and Lenovo machines with Intel Bluetooth chipsets such as the AX211 and BE200. The strongest pattern so far is with Logitech Bluetooth mice and keyboards. Removing the Logitech devices and uninstalling the Logitech Download Assistant makes the systems stable, and other Bluetooth peripherals work normally. Re-pairing the Logitech hardware brings the disconnects back. We have tried multiple driver versions and disabling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth power management, but neither helped.
We are seeing the same random disconnects on both Dell laptops and desktops using Intel Bluetooth hardware. In some cases the connection drops while unlocking Windows, while other systems disconnect intermittently during normal use. So far, changing drivers has not produced a consistent fix.
