I recently installed an Asus B850 WiFi 7 Neo motherboard, but neither Wi-Fi nor Bluetooth appears to work. I installed the available drivers from Asus, enabled the relevant settings in BIOS, and attached the antennas, yet Windows still doesn't show a wireless adapter or allow any connections. I've seen people mention that the Realtek and MediaTek driver packages can be confused, especially on Windows 10. How can I identify the correct wireless chipset and get both features working?

Make sure you downloaded the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth packages from the exact support page for your motherboard model. The automatic driver utility may not provide the wireless drivers correctly, so manually download and install both packages from Asus. Also confirm the driver matches your Windows version and the actual wireless chipset installed.
Double-check whether your board uses a Realtek or MediaTek wireless controller before installing anything. The wrong package may install unsuccessfully or leave the adapter missing, and MediaTek drivers can be particularly troublesome on Windows 10. Check Device Manager for an unknown network device or hardware ID, then use that to select the exact driver.
The antennas need to be connected for good reception, but missing antennas usually wouldn’t make the Wi-Fi adapter disappear from Windows entirely. Since they’re already installed, this sounds more like an incorrect, incomplete, or incompatible driver than a BIOS setting.
