I bought an ASUS G15DH desktop around 2021 and it worked normally the last time I used it. After sitting packed away since moving in May, it now powers on but will not display anything over HDMI. I have tested multiple monitors and TVs, several HDMI cables, and both HDMI ports on the graphics card, so the display and cables do not seem to be the problem. I also removed and reseated the graphics card, but that did not help. The computer was transported in its original box with the protective foam, and I am not experienced enough to tell whether the graphics card looks damaged. What else should I check to determine whether the GPU or another component has failed?

Since both HDMI ports on the graphics card have been tested with different displays and cables, the issue is probably inside the desktop rather than with the monitor. Check that the graphics card is fully latched into its PCIe slot and that every required power connector is firmly attached. Also verify that the monitor is set to the correct HDMI input. If the PC has another video output, such as DisplayPort, testing that would help determine whether only the HDMI ports have failed.
I confirmed that both HDMI ports I tried are on the graphics card, not the motherboard. I will check the power connectors and try another type of video output if available.
