My Asus Q530V running Windows 11 abruptly entered hibernation when the battery got low instead of showing the usual warning. Since then, it powers on to a black screen with the keyboard backlight lit. The fans eventually start, but the keyboard does not respond, including the function key for controlling the backlight. Holding the power button for about five seconds shuts it down, although it seems like it may be returning to hibernation rather than performing a full forced shutdown. I have tried holding the power button for up to a minute, allowing the battery to drain completely, and recharging it. The behavior briefly changed once, but it is now consistently stuck on the black screen. The battery is screwed in internally, so I would prefer not to remove it unless necessary. What else can I try to get it to boot normally?

Try a true hard reset by removing the bottom cover, disconnecting the internal battery, and then holding the power button for about a minute to discharge the system. Reconnect the charger without reconnecting the battery and try starting it. This can clear a failed hibernation or embedded-controller state.
I disconnected the internal battery and performed the power-button reset twice. It still only shows a black screen, even when connected to the charger. Holding the power button still shuts it off after about five seconds, and disconnecting the charger while it is running makes no difference.
