Asus TUF F15 Won’t Turn On After Holding the Power Button

I was trying to fix a software problem on my Asus TUF F15. I unplugged the charger and disconnected my mouse, then held the power button for about 40 seconds. Since then, the laptop shows no signs of powering on at all. I've tried holding the button again for another 40 seconds and testing it both plugged in and unplugged, but nothing has changed. What's the safest way to reset its power state and get it running again?

If you’re comfortable removing the bottom cover, disconnect the main battery for a short time and reconnect it. Some models may also have a separate CMOS battery, though you should avoid disconnecting anything unless you can identify the connectors safely. Once everything is reconnected, test the laptop with the charger attached.

It may be stuck in an unusual power state. With the charger disconnected, the usual deeper reset is to open the bottom panel, disconnect the internal battery, and hold the power button for roughly 60 seconds to discharge any remaining power. Then reconnect the battery and try powering it on.

After reconnecting the internal battery, should I plug the charger back in before trying to turn it on?
