Good morning everyone! I'm currently tackling a frustrating issue with an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) system. My client is experiencing freezes when one user signs out, causing all other connected users to freeze as well. Sometimes the freezing lasts for a while, even requiring a server reboot during the day. I've checked the Event Viewer for errors and Azure doesn't show any glaring problems. Just to note, we aren't using FSLogix in this setup, and all users are on the latest version of the Remote Desktop App.

I'm following this discussion because one of our customers is dealing with similar freezing issues, but their problem revolves around QuickBooks. I'm curious if there's any overlap or shared issues between AVD and QuickBooks.
It sounds like your session host might be struggling every time someone logs off. Have you checked for any rogue processes or potential memory leaks that get triggered when logging off? Event Viewer might not be revealing much, but it could be worth a deeper dig to see if anything unusual happens during logoff.
We had a similar AVD issue recently, although ours was related to users stuck on multi-factor authentication (MFA) despite logs showing MFA success. We found that the latest Windows updates were the culprit; uninstalling those updates allowed access again. There was also a new KB that needed to be downloaded and installed, but I can't remember which one it was. Interestingly, users could still access the system via the web interface without issues until we resolved it.
