Best CPU Recommendations for RTX 4070 Super Build

Hey everyone! I'm building a new PC and taking advantage of a tax sale in Australia. I found the RTX 4070 Super for under $900 AUD, and I'm looking for a CPU to pair with it. I have a budget of around $400, and I'm considering options like the Ryzen 5 9600x, 7 5700x, 5 7600x, and 7 5800xt. My main concern is whether the 6 threads of some of these CPUs will be future-proof. Any thoughts or recommendations? I'm a little flexible with the price too. Thanks a lot!

Honestly, nothing is completely future-proof, but I think you should go with the Ryzen 7500f or 7600. Both will pair nicely with your setup. Plus, since you’ll be on the AM5 platform, you can easily upgrade down the road if needed.
