I recently upgraded to a 5070 Ti and I'm considering upgrading my CPU next. Currently, I'm using an Intel i5-10400F. Any suggestions on which CPU I should go for?

If you're primarily gaming at higher resolutions like 1440p or 4k, go for the 9600X. At those resolutions, the performance is more GPU dependent, so it’s a great fit.
If you're not into multiplayer high-FPS games, I think the Ryzen 5 9600X is a really obvious choice for your upgrade. But if you do play those types of games or plan to dabble in AI/ML, then check out the Intel lineup.
If you're looking for a powerful, future-proof CPU, I highly recommend saving up for the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. However, if you're on a budget, the Ryzen 5 7600X or Ryzen 7 7700X are solid options too. Just keep in mind that since you're using an Intel motherboard, your safest upgrade might be the i7-14700K. If you can stretch your budget, switching to an AM5 motherboard would open up more Ryzen options for you!
I’ve got the 9800X3D paired with 32GB of 6000MHz CL30 memory and a Gigabyte Aorus Master 5070 Ti, and everything runs effortlessly at 1440p. Definitely happy with that combo!
What other components do you have? Particularly the motherboard and PSU? Knowing those can help narrow down the best CPU for you!
