I'm looking for devices that would let me watch videos online and do some general browsing on my TV, but my TV isn't a smart one. What options do I have? Any recommendations?

Roku and Apple TV are definitely your best bets. But if you’re looking for something more versatile, consider an Android TV box; just avoid the cheaper ones and stick to the $55+ range for better performance.

Another option is to get a cheap PC or a mini PC with the right video outputs. Pair it with a wireless keyboard and mouse, and you're set for streaming and browsing! Just make sure to test it first with a borrowed PC; not all TVs play nice with computers.

Don't forget about the Amazon Fire Stick! Some users report it being a bit slow compared to other devices, but it's still a popular choice for streaming if that's your main focus.

For browsing, you might want to shy away from Rokus since they don’t support web browsing well. Instead, look into mini PCs or a computer stick you can plug into the HDMI port — they work just like a desktop PC but are super compact!

If you just want to stream, a Roku device is a solid choice; you can easily connect it to your regular TV. It's super user-friendly and works great for most streaming services.
