I've recently given my PC a big upgrade, except for the graphics card. I'm currently using an RTX 3060 with 12GB of VRAM, but I'm hesitant to buy a new GPU right now because I'm waiting for the prices to drop after the AI hype fades. I just got my Ryzen 7 5700X3D from a store in Mexico, and it was the last one available. What GPU do you all recommend for this setup?

You might also want to consider a 9070XT, depending on availability. It's great for performance at 1080p, and it works well with your Ryzen 7 5700X3D. If you're just gaming casually, the RTX 3060 might be enough for now until prices stabilize.
Given your solid CPU, you could technically pair it with any modern GPU. For a good balance, a 9070XT or going Nvidia with something like a 4070 or better might give you long-term value. Just check current prices and what's available in your area before jumping in.
If you're targeting around $450, I’d suggest looking into the 5070 or even a used 3080 if you can swing it. With your setup, anything from the 5080 and above is usually great, but be cautious of CPU bottlenecks if gaming isn't strictly AAA titles.
Totally agree. The 5070 is a solid option, and for 1080p gaming, the RTX 3060 is still decent. But keep an eye out for price drops on the newer GPUs, especially ones that excel in frame generation.
Thanks for the tips! I’ll look into used options as well.
Honestly, the RTX 3060 is still a heavyweight for 1080p gaming. Monitor how much it's being utilized during your gameplay. If you’re maxing out usage, then it could be time to upgrade. If not, you're good for a while! Just keep an eye on options like the RX 9060 XT, which can be great too.

Thanks! I'm mainly playing at 1080p, so I want to ensure I'm not overpaying for performance I won't utilize.
