I'm looking to upgrade my old office PC to play Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I want to maximize performance without creating a bottleneck with my CPU, which is an i5-2400. What would be the best graphics card I could pair with it? Also, I've got a solid power supply with an 8-pin connector, so power isn't an issue.

When I had a similar setup with an i5 3330 and an RX 580, I found it became CPU-bound in some titles, but Shadow of the Tomb Raider is pretty friendly on the CPU. So I'd recommend either the GTX 1060 6GB or the RX 570. Going for something like a GTX 1660 could work too, but anything beyond that might be overkill for your CPU.

So, for other games too, would the RX 570 4GB keep up well with this CPU?

For your setup, you're going to want a graphics card that doesn’t draw too much power since most office PCs have limited supplies. The RTX 3050 6GB is a solid choice, but given your CPU's age, I'd suggest considering the GTX 1050 Ti as well. Just keep in mind, with dedicated graphics, your system still might struggle to run Shadow of the Tomb Raider smoothly.
