Hey everyone! I'm new to Linux and am trying to get the hang of different distributions. I'm curious if there's a specific Linux distro that's great for gaming, particularly for playing games on Steam and Epic Games. My computer setup is a bit on the older side, with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, Asus TUF Gaming B550m Plus motherboard, a Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX5600XT BE graphics card, and 16GB of Adata XPG Spectrix D50 RAM. Any recommendations would really help. Thanks in advance!

When it comes to Linux distros, the specific one you choose doesn’t usually impact performance too much, unless there are some specific conditions. For a hassle-free gaming experience, I'd suggest trying Nobara. It's easy to use and has a lot of gaming features preinstalled.

You mentioned that performance differences are minimal, but with an AMD GPU, the version of the kernel and Mesa can actually influence things quite a bit!
