I'm looking for effective scripts or tools to use with autopilot or RMM solutions to help eliminate HP bloatware and their security software from our business-class desktops and laptops. Any recommendations?

You might want to consider getting the devices without the bloatware in the first place. Most major manufacturers offer a 'bloat-free' factory image, which includes just Windows and the necessary drivers. Usually, this option is a minimal cost or sometimes no extra charge, especially with bulk purchases.

It can be more expensive than you'd think; it's often only available to medium-sized businesses or larger.

The best way I've found to get rid of all that junk is to just wipe the system and do a clean installation of Windows. We typically use the Media Creation Tool to create a thumb drive with the latest Windows version, along with an unattended XML file for settings. A couple of tweaks and it's set up and ready to go in no time!

There are several useful scripts available on GitHub that can help you with this, especially those contributed by Microsoft MVPs. However, be careful if you're dealing with HP Wolf Security, as it might require some additional steps.

Yeah, Wolf Security has been quite a challenge for us too!
