I'm transitioning from laptops to my first custom-built PC and my budget is flexible between $5,000 and $6,000. I want to use it mainly for 4K gaming and heavy video editing. I'll also need peripherals, including a 4K 240Hz monitor, a wired keyboard, a mouse, and a headset. I'm aiming for 128GB of RAM, 4-8TB of NVMe SSD storage, minimal RGB lighting, and while I'm not expecting complete silence, I would prefer it to be quieter than a server. There are no size constraints for the build.

For your budget, that's a solid plan! Just keep in mind that RAM and SSDs can eat up a significant portion of your budget, around $2,000 for both. I suggest checking out review sites like Puget Systems for performance insights and using PCPartPicker to help source your parts and stay within budget.

Here's a detailed build I recommend:
- **CPU**: Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus
- **Cooler**: Corsair NAUTILUS Liquid Cooler
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte Z890 EAGLE
- **RAM**: G.Skill Ripjaws 96GB DDR5-6400
- **Storage**: Several SSDs including a 4TB Silicon Power unit
- **GPU**: PNY GeForce RTX 5080
- **Monitor**: Samsung Odyssey OLED 32" 240Hz
This configuration totals about $5,606. It has a balance of power and productivity, perfect for gaming and video tasks. I went with 96GB of RAM as 128GB would stretch the budget too thin, but that should serve you just fine!

While the suggested build looks great on paper, I have to point out that the SSDs listed are QLC types, which are generally slower and less durable than TLC drives. Consider opting for TLC SSDs for better performance and longevity.
