Best PSU Choice for Sapphire NITRO+ 9070XT

I'm figuring out which power supply unit (PSU) to choose for my build, which includes a Sapphire NITRO+ B850A, a Sapphire NITRO+ 9070XT, and an AMD 9600X. I'm considering the MSI MAG A850GL, but there's also the Super Flower SF-1300F14XG ATX 3.1 Leadex VII XG 1300W, which has a Cybenetics Platinum rating. While I could spend a bit more on the Super Flower, I'm not sure if I really need the extra power. The 9070XT requires three 8-pin connectors, and I noticed the MSI PSU only has two. Should I use the 12vhpr connector or stick with the 8-pin ones for this GPU? Thanks in advance!

The MSI MAG A850GL actually has 2 cables with two plugs each, so you can create a daisy chain with it. It’s a modern power supply that can handle the 9070XT, so no worries there!

I just worry about it overheating, you know?

Honestly, 850W is plenty for the 9070XT, so you probably don’t need to shell out for a 1300W PSU. The MSI PSU has four connectors, so you might have misread that. As for using the 12vhpr or 8-pin, it really depends on your GPU, but I'd recommend going with the standard 8-pin connections.

The Sapphire NITRO requires the 12vhpr connector. Just a heads up, the MSI PSU does come with that cable, but I've seen concerns about it burning out.

What country are you in? In many places, the A850GL is overpriced.

I’m in South Africa. Here, it’s not too bad compared to other options, especially Corsair, which are pricier.
