I enabled A-XMP Profile 1 to raise my 16GB of G.Skill RAM from 2133MHz to 2933MHz with timings of 16-18-18-38. After saving the BIOS settings, the computer powers on with fans and lights, but there is no display and I cannot get back into the BIOS. I have already tried shutting it down with the power button and restarting it several times, but it has not automatically restored the safe settings.
My system uses an MSI A320M-A PRO MAX (MS-7C52), a Ryzen 3 3200G, and 2x8GB of RAM. The BIOS is version 2.60 from 2020. Should I clear the CMOS using the battery, or does this board have a JBAT reset header? Also, is 2933MHz an unrealistic speed for this motherboard and processor, or would a BIOS update potentially improve memory compatibility?

Removing the CMOS battery also works, but it is generally more hassle than using the clear-CMOS header. With the power disconnected, remove the battery for several minutes, then reinstall it and boot. If the first attempt does not work, hold the power button briefly while the system is unplugged before reinstalling the battery.
2933MHz is not automatically too fast for a Ryzen 3 3200G. The processor officially supports speeds around that range, although the motherboard, BIOS version, and individual memory kit can affect stability. Once the system boots at defaults, check MSI's BIOS support list and update only to a version that still supports the 3200G. Later BIOS releases may improve memory compatibility, but follow the update instructions carefully.
The quickest option is usually the JBAT1 clear-CMOS pins. Shut the computer down, switch off and unplug the power supply, then briefly short the two JBAT1 pins with the tip of a screwdriver. Remove the screwdriver, reconnect power, and start the system. This resets the BIOS to its defaults, so you will need to set any custom options again. The header location is shown in the motherboard manual or printed on the board.
