Can a Flipper Zero Disrupt Mobile Data or Hotspots?

I've been researching the Flipper Zero and noticed that some capabilities require additional community-developed software or hardware add-ons. I have a specific use case and want to understand whether the device can interfere with a cellular connection, such as mobile data or a phone's hotspot. Is that technically possible, and what are the device's actual limitations?

Not with the Flipper Zero by itself. It doesn’t natively support the cellular bands used by modern 4G LTE or 5G networks, and it isn’t designed to act as a cellular jammer. Additional hardware would still not make intentional interference appropriate or lawful. In many countries, transmitting interference that disrupts cellular service is strictly prohibited and can lead to serious penalties.

The Flipper is mainly a learning and experimentation tool for certain radio, infrared, NFC, RFID, and access-control technologies. It has some niche capabilities, but disrupting mobile data or hotspots isn’t one of them. If the goal is to test your own network, use legal methods such as router controls, device-management settings, or an isolated lab setup instead.
