Can I Buy AppleCare+ After Cracking My Screen?

I bought my iPhone 17 three weeks ago but didn't get AppleCare+ at the time. Unfortunately, I dropped my phone and cracked the screen today. Can I still purchase AppleCare+ online now and then get my phone repaired under that? I know I'm within the purchase window for AppleCare+.

Yeah, you can technically buy AppleCare+ after you’ve cracked your screen. Just a heads up though, maybe wait a few days before sending it for repair so it doesn’t look too suspicious that you got the coverage right after the damage.

Absolutely, but make sure to do it directly on your iPhone instead of walking into an Apple Store while handing them your broken phone and asking for the plan. People have done that, and it usually doesn’t end well!
