Can I Change My MAC Address to Bypass Internet Restrictions?

I'm dealing with a situation where my parents have set up a device that cuts off my internet access at a specific time. Whenever I try to reconnect, I get redirected to a URL that shows my MAC address at the end. However, the MAC address shown there doesn't match what I see when I run 'getmac' in Command Prompt, and it doesn't change when I attempt to modify it in Device Manager. I've heard that some MAC addresses can't be changed, and I'm really hoping that's not the case for me. I'm using a Realtek GbE family Controller network adapter. Any advice would be really helpful, thanks!

Maybe instead of trying to bypass your parents' rules, have an honest conversation with them about needing more online time? Evasion might work temporarily, but it could harm their trust in you in the long run. It's probably better to build that trust instead!

I've tried talking to them, but it's hard to explain how I've lost progress in projects when the timer changes unpredictably. Sometimes it’s not just about staying up late.
