I'm looking to upgrade the power supply on my HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF, which has a 7-pin power supply connection. I have a 24-pin ATX power supply at home and I want to know if there's any way to adapt this ATX power supply to work with my motherboard. Has anyone done this or have advice? Thanks!

You should definitely get a power supply that's designed for HP systems. There are other options available; for instance, I found a great 400W HP-compatible power supply for just $30. It's a solid choice if you're looking to boost your system's performance!
It's possible to create an adapter, but proceed with caution! You'll find some adapter options on places like eBay and Amazon. Just make sure to thoroughly research them because the wrong adapter could seriously damage your computer. It's really on you to validate what you choose.
I did some digging and unfortunately, I couldn’t find an adapter that lets a 24-pin ATX supply work with that 7-pin setup. This is pretty common with prebuilt systems; they use proprietary components that don't always play nice with standard parts.
