I'm considering purchasing an Anker 332 USB-C Hub (which has HDMI and USB A ports) to connect my phone to a monitor using an HDMI cable, while also using a mouse with a USB-A Bluetooth receiver. My goal is to mirror my old phone's screen on the monitor to make gaming easier. I see this setup often used with laptops but I'm not sure if it would work with my phone. Also, would it be possible to charge my phone through a USB-C cable connected to the hub?

It really depends on your phone model. Most phones won't allow you to both use a hub and charge at the same time. Normally, you’d need a dock to enable power delivery. So, check your phone's specs to see if it can support the hub's functions.
If you’re using an iPhone, the answer is a straight no. For Android devices, some might work, but you’ll need to dive into specifics. Plus, you might be able to use a mouse, but charging could stop when it's connected.
Definitely! Using a mouse is usually possible, but multitasking with charging can be tricky.
I've had success using a setup similar with my Pixel 6, but it’s best to double-check your specific phone for compatibility!
Consider mirroring your phone’s screen to a smart TV if it's equipped for that. Just a heads up, though, if you're gaming, there could be some lag involved.
You could use a setup like this with devices that support it, especially if it’s a newer Android flagship. I was able to set up my phone with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse seamlessly! Just keep in mind that you may face limitations on charging while transferring data at the same time.

Yeah, some devices do have limitations, especially on power delivery! It's always best to look up your specific phone model's capabilities.
