Can I Downgrade Windows Server 2025 Remote Desktop Services to 2022?

I'm curious if anyone has successfully downgraded Remote Desktop Services from Windows Server 2025 to work with Windows Server 2022, specifically regarding the 1 Device CAL. Was the downgrade process complicated?

If your RDS license server has 2025 CALs, you should be good since they can work with earlier versions like 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022. So, you might not have any issues at all!

ServerGuru88: That's what I thought, but I think my client's license server is just on 2022, so I'm a bit worried.
